Description
1941-46 1/2a purple, opt type 7 in lower right corner marginal block of 4 NH (gum bends and lighly toned gum), the lower pair showing the variety ‘Pair, one without opt’. The consequence of a paper fold, the overprint being printed on the reverse of the stamp and marginal selvedge, this is a major GVI rarity, being one of only two examples known. Cert. B.P.A (2020).
