1852 ½ Anna Blue Scinde Dawk, cut to shape and affixed on native piece, cancelled by a diamond bar obliterator. The reverse bears an expertization by Heddergott, whose accompanying invoice records the stamp as having been “on original cover.” Margins are close all around. The piece shows some scuffing and toning, commensurate with the fragile nature of these early stamps. A collectible example on piece of this classic rarity. Condition fair.(S.G. £11’000 for used).
