1947-49 Airmail from Bahrain to USA via Saudi Arabia and Africa: Pair of airmail covers from a CASOC employee in Bahrain, sent via Khobar to California, one (14.2.47) with 18 1/8g. rate, sent via Durban, S. Africa where it was censored and re-sealed, the other (26.1.49) with a 33 1/4 g. rate, sent via Lagos, with British censorship, to Salt Lake City and re-directed, colourful and attractive usages
