1943-45 Diplomatic mail from Jeddah to Washington: Pair of airmail covers from the US Legation, carried by courier and cancelled on arrival, one (1943) with a most unusual 6G. franking, including block 1/8 G., and boxed “MA/from FC” (=Mail Arrived from Foreign Country), the other with 14G. rate (1945) and boxed “AM-M/from/FC” (Air Mail / Mail from Foreign Country), a scarce pair
