1927 (Mar 7) Irish acceptance for experimental London-Cairo-East Africa airmail service, 1/2d postal stationery cover from Dublin uprated with Sword and Shield stamps with ms “Per 1st flight from Cairo”, however the aircraft crashed on Khartown-Kisumu route and was forwarded by surface mail, reverse with red KENYA-SUDAN AIR MAIL cds, Jinja and Kisumu arrival cds, very fine Auction
