Braila – Ibrail : 1844 Entire letter from Braila to Constantinople (the Ottoman Post in Braila had a Postal Relay station at this date and mail from Braila was cancelled at the arrival office), on arrival in Constantinople struck with all Arabic negative ‘An Canib Posta-i Deraliyye 257’ greenish hand stamp (Coles & Walker fig.7). alongside Arabic manuscript despatch ‘IBRAIL’ and weight 3 Dirhem / postal charge 4 piastre.
