1841 (12.3) Postal coach order (Podorojna): Manuscript calligraphed in Cyrillic on thick, woven paper by the Ispravnicie (administration) of the Vaslui County directing the Captain of the Vaslui Post to release a sled (it was still winter!) with four horses to an employee of the administration. Document shows a large ornate decorative black seal reading ”Ispravnicia of the Vaslui County, Principality of Moldavia, 1840”. A superb and clear strike, a rare document not yet seen on the philatelic market
Note: Podorojna (singular) or Podorojne (plural) means: a written order to the Post Captain to make post horses and post coaches available to the person(s) nominated
