Cased Gold First Place Winner’s Medal Awarded for Swimming, 200m metre individual medley event. Medal is gold-plated over silver or silver gilt, diameter 66mm, thickness 4.2 mm and weight 175 grams, showing event name “Schwimmen 200m lagen Herren” and winner “Larsson Gunnar” engraved on the edge, plus gold plated chain, all presented in plastic presentation case lined with velvet and gold coloured edging showing Olympic logo, designed by Gerhard Marcks and Giuseppe Cassioli
