TRINIDAD TO USA: 1877 Envelope to New Orleans franked by Trinidad 1863-80 1d lake and 4d grey tied by TRINIDAD FE27 1877 cds, carried by SS “Eider” to Barbados then by SS “Moselle” to St.Thomas where ST-THOMAS MR4 77 cds was applied on reverse. sent by mistake to New York with SS “New Orleans” (NEW YORK MAR20 due marking) and probably returned with same ship, then arrival in New Orleans on April 11th, very fine
