1848 Folded entire to Copenhagen dated St. Croix 14 MAY 1848 bearing on reverse ST:-THOMAS MY30 1848 cds, London 21AU 48 transit, carried by SS “Great Western” to Bermuda and by SS “Tay” to Southampton, then Hamburg-Altona route was altered and mail was sent through Lauenberg-Lübeck / Travemünde with Swedish ship to Copenhagen, scarce
