1881 (May 15) Wrapper to Trieste with 1880 2 1/2d Rosy Mauve pl.14 tied by “942” numeral with Larnaca despatch cds adjacent, reverse with Brindisi and Trieste arrival, very fine and fresh 1881 (MY 15) folded entire letter from Larnaca to Trieste, Ralli correspondence, franked at foreign rate by 1880 21/2d rosy mauve, plate 14, tied by very fine ‘942’ numeral, with superb ‘LARNACA’ cds alongside and superb framed sender’s handstamp in blue-green at lower left. Endorsed ‘Via Brindisi’, and with Brindisi and Trieste (21/5/81) backstamps. A lovely cover of exceptional quality.
