Gupta Empire, Chandragupta IV, (possibly) c. after 470, AV dinar, 8.61 g. (20 mm). Obverse: ‘archer’ type, king with stacked curls standing to left wearing a pleated loin cloth, holding longbow in left hand and an arrow in right, slender Garuda standard in left field and altar symbol between king’s halo and Garuda, Brahmi legend Chandra below king’s left arm. Reverse: Lakshmi with halo sitting on seven-petaled lotus, holding diadem and lotus flower, tamgha to left, Brahmi legend right srivikkramah, Kumar, TOTGE 2024, variety A. Raven, CG3/group 3.

EF, well-centered and well struck, very strong details on both sides and all around, a strong lustre shows through.
