Gupta Empire, Kumaragupta II, c. 473-476, AV dinar, 9.26 g. (22 mm). Obverse: ‘archer’ type, king with long curls wearing tunic with long tails over loin cloth and long, thin sash tied at waist, standing left, holding longbow in left hand, arrow in right, Garuda standard at left, Brahmi ku beneath crescent under left arm. Reverse: Lakshmi seated cross-legged facing on lotus, holding diadem and long-stemmed lotus left, Brahmi legend to right kramaditya, dotted border around. Raven, KG2/group 1.
VF, with good details especially on reverse side and good high relief on the obverse.
