Gupta Empire, Kumaragupta II, c. 473-476, AV dinar, 9.18 g. (21 mm). Obverse: ‘archer’ type, king standing left, holding longbow in left hand, arrow in right, Garuda standard at left, circular Brahmi legend around. Reverse: Lakshmi seated in padmasana pose facing on lotus, holding diadem and long-stemmed lotus left, Brahmi legend to right ending with kramaditya, dotted border around. Raven, KG2/group 1.
