Obverse: ‘lion slayer’ type; king wearing short loin cloth holds the bow in his left hand, and firing an arrow at the lion to right. Reverse: Lakshmi with halo sitting on a lion facing to the left, holding a diadem and lotus flower; Brahmi legend to right sinhavikkramah and tamgha to left.
