Obverse: ‘lion slayer’ type; king wearing a cap with crest, a tunic over loin cloth and a sash on his side, holding the bow in his left hand, and firing an arrow at the lion to the right. Truncated Brahmi legend around, beginning with narendracandrah Reverse: Lakshmi sitting to left astride a lion facing to the left, holding a lotus in her raised right hand, her left hand is empty and rests on the lion’s back; tamgha to left, Brahmi legend to right sinhavikramah.
