Gupta Empire, Chandragupta II, c. 380-413, AV dinar, 7.77 g. (18 mm). Obverse: ‘horseman’ type; king riding horse left, king with large head and large curls, wearing tunic over trousers and sash, circular Brahmi legend around. Reverse: Lakshmi without halo seated left on tiny wicker stool, with hair tied into a bun at back. Kumar, TOTGE 2024, Class I, variety B.3. Raven, CG2/group 7.
