Kushanas, Huvishka, c. 151-192, AV quarter dinar, 1.98 g. (12 mm). Obverse: Crowned half-length bust left, halo around head, holding scepter, with Bactrian legend encircling. Reverse: lunar deity Mao standing left, crescents on shoulders, holding diadem and left hand on long sceptre or spear. Bactrian legend MAO on right, tamgha to left.
EF-AU, lustre shows through, well-centered and well-struck from slightly rusted dies.
A very rare Huvishka quarter dinar that reproduces all the fine details of the larger dinar issue.
