Lot 399 – Bouteille à tabac en émail cloisonné rare avec marque
SNUFF BOTTLE ÉMAIL CLOISONNÉ RARE AVEC MARQUE QIANLONG ET DE LA PÉRIODE, GUANGZHOU (1760-1799).
De forme globulaire aplatie, avec un rebord plat doré, soutenue par un bord ovale doré entourant un pied en retrait qui porte une marque incisée Qianlong. Le corps présente un fond jaune avec de charmants motifs floraux, accompagné d’un bouchon cloisonné assorti. En très bon état. Hauteur : 7 cm.
Provenance : ancienne collection suisse.
Remarque : Il est très rare de trouver une bouteille à tabac en émail cloisonné avec marque de règne Qianlong, et seul un petit nombre d’exemplaires sont connus. Les bouteilles semblent avoir été produites dans des ateliers à Guangzhou, mais il est incertain si elles ont été commandées par la Cour ou s’il s’agissait d’articles de luxe.

De plus, un exemple de forme très semblable a été vendu chez Bonhams San Francisco le 25 juin 2013, lot 8176, pour 37.500 USD.
SNUFF BOTTLE. Rare cloisonné enamel with Qianlong mark and period, Guangzhou (1760-1799)
Of flattened globular form, with a flat gilded rim, supported by a gilded oval rim surrounding a recessed foot that bears an incised Qianlong mark. The body features a yellow background with charming floral motifs, accompanied by a matching cloisonné stopper. In very good condition. Height: 7 cm.
Provenance: former Swiss collection.
Note: It is very rare to find a cloisonné enamel tobacco bottle with a Qianlong reign mark, and only a small number of examples are known. The bottles appear to have been produced in workshops in Guangzhou, but it is uncertain whether they were commissioned by the Court or were luxury items.
