Blois, Lucerna, sans date (1939). In-4, en feuilles sous chemise à rabats illustrée. 18 double feuillets, dont 16 illustrés. 16 double feuillets sont illustrés de costumes. Cet ouvrage est un simple guide à l’usage des patronages, des sociétés d’amateurs et même des artistes de théâtre et cinéma qui désirent composer les costumes d’un spectacle.

Provenance : Collection personnelle de Rui Ribeiro Couto (écrivain, poète et diplomate brésilien). Rui Ribeiro Couto a joué un rôle dans l’aide apportée à de nombreux Juifs d’Europe pour venir au Brésil lorsqu’il était ambassadeur en Hongrie. Il possédait une très vaste bibliothèque, qui fut ensuite ramenée au Brésil par sa veuve.

This work serves as a simple guide intended for use by youth groups, amateur societies, and even theater and film artists who wish to design costumes for a production.

Provenance: Personal collection of Rui Ribeiro Couto (Brazilian writer, poet and diplomat) Rui Ribeiro Couto was involved in helping bring many Jews from Europe to Brazil while he was the ambassador to Hungary. He had a very extensive library, which was later brought to Brazil by his widow.
