Description
Vijayanagar Empire, Tuluva Dynasty, Krishnadevaraya, 15th Century, AV varaha, 3.36 g. (13 mm). Obverse: Balakrishna seated cross-legged with his left hand resting on his leg, adorned by beaded bracelet, armlets and anklets, a crown of peacock feathers on his head. Reverse: Nagari legend in two lines with interlinear rulers.
VF-EF, lustrous surfaces, weak strike from worn dies.
