Kushanas, Vasishka, c. 247-265, AV dinar, 7.76 g. (19 mm). Obverse: Vasishka, standing facing, head left, sacrificing over altar and holding staff; trident with ribbon to left, Brahmi letters to right, Bactrian inscription around. Reverse: Oesho standing, facing, holding trident and diadem, behind the bull Nandi standing left, Bactrian OHÞO to right, tamgha left, within dotted border.

The coins of Vasishka are notoriously hard to identify, with hardly any showing the complete name on the flan. We rely on research conducted in the Department of Money and Medals at the British Museum for the identification of these coins.
