1859 2 Gr. plate I, cobalt (cobalto), horizontal pair, position 84-85, the left-hand stamp showing position 84 retouch, together with 10Gr., on 1859 (26 Feb) part entire to Genova, Palermo despatch cds, rating handstamp and red three-line Via/ Di Mare/ (E) handstamp, reverse with arrival cancels, the name and part of address re-written, fine and very scarce usage paying the 1 sheet letter rate to Genoa carried by commercial steamship.
