Lot 30006 – Sicily 1859 1/2Gr right-hand marginal block of six used

1859 1/2 Gr. plate I, porous paper (NA), light yellow-orange (giallo arancio chiaro) in a right-hand sheet marginal block of six, margins touched at top and more so at base, but not in anyway detracting from this very rare and desirable used multiple.

This block was originally part of the most important cover of the Half Grana value (see Aquila, page 226). An extraordinary multiple of the utmost rarity.
