Description
1840 2d Deep Blue, Plate 2, BD–SE, block of four. Strong, vivid shade, neatly cancelled by virtually complete strikes of the black Maltese Cross. Tiny scissor cut between impressions at right in the margin only. A most attractive and rare multiple.
