1908 London collection of 107 postcards, with 28 related to the famous marathon incl. postcards of Dorando and Haynes and real photo postcards of them running at Windsor and through the streets of London plus one postcard with message from a spectator (“I broke away from Oxford to witness the great Marathon Race at London…of course it was won by an American although an Italian would have won had he endured”), 34 depicting the Olympic stadium, 3 Swedish produced cards, Danish cards, two real photo pc of swimmers C. M. Daniells and Henry Taylor, and 35 of the Franco-British Exhibition (most with with exhibition cancels), etc., a great lot for this difficult Games (89).
