1936 (Nov 27) Edward VII Coronation essays, 2 1/2d in set of four imperf. pairs showing the King from the Percy Metcalfe effigy with head tilted forward (design type V), printed in green, red, brown and blue on gummed E8R watermarked paper, one stamp thinned and a couple with heavy hinges, believed to be the only examples of these rare trials in private hands.
