Description

1840 2d blue pl.2 RH with very close to clear margins tied black MC, on cover sent to the City of London and then re-addressed to Limehouse with additional 1841 1d red (2 to 3 margins), “Fenchurch St” handstamp on front with the various backstamps. The 2d has been lifted for examination and replaced. A very scarce London combination usage; cert. Brandon (1999).
