Description

1846 (Dec) 2d Mulready envelope, forme 1 stereo a200, sent from Dublin to Kilkenny uprated with 1841 1d red-brown pl.71, cancelled by a “186” numeral, backstamped with a Dublin cds for DE.16.1846 and a blue Kilkenny arrival cds. Of the three examples known, this is the finest (S.G. £32’500).
