Lot 30791 – 1919 large insured letter sent Meched to Teheran, bearing a spectacular franking of 5 kran

1918 “1337” 5Kr (24) and 1911-21 5Kr (4), 5ch and 3ch all on a large insured letter sent Meched to Teheran, the reverse with red wax seals of Direction des Postes and a circular mark of Posted de Khorassan Sistan; a spectacular and unique franking with genuine use of the scarce 5kr overprinted issue, with some light wrinkling to envelope, brown spots, and perforation faults in places.
