1907 (April) Envelope from Baku to Ispahan franked on reverse with Russia 3k and 7k tied by Shield shape Enzeli postmark, dropped in ship’s letterbox on the Baku-Enzeli line and cancelled in transit at Enzeli, with Tehran transit adjacent and Ispahan arrival on obverse, this cancellation was applied from 1906s to 1907 to uncancelled mail arriving by ship from Russia to the Persian port of Enzeli. Only three covers known from Baku cancelled by shield shape Enzeli postmark. Very rare & fine.
