UNO New York: 1958-1970 Group of nine unadopted hand painted essays, approximately A4 size or a bit larger, including two different examples in black & white for the 1958 Economic & Social Council (ECOSOC) 3c value, two different essays for the 1960 Forestry World Congress 4c, 1961 International Monetary Fund issue for 4c value featuring the stamp size ‘perforated’ for 8c value underneath, 1961 UNICEF 4c, 1961 Economic Commission for Latin America 10c, 1970 Peace and Progress 6c and 13c, all by famous Austrian stamp designer Woyty Wimmer during his London period, each with provenance cachets on back.
