1859 Britannia 6d deep green, three examples in reconstructed strip with Perkins Bacon “CANCELLED” oval handstamps, presented by the printers to Ormond Hill (the nephew of Sir Rowland Hill) for members of his family, each with four margins (clear to large), very fine and very rare, a stunning showpiece, from pos.3-6 out of the block of six cancelled as such, one of which is in the Royal Collection; pos.4 cert.
