1854 (Nov 30) entire from Guiria, Venezuela (a small village across the water from Trinidad), endorsed “via de Trinidad” and carried privately to Port of Spain and franked with 1851-55 (1d) grey, 3 margins, tied by “1” numeral, rated “4”d for the inter-island rate, sent to La Guaira in Venezuela with “2” hs on arrival for internal delivery, reverse with Trinidad and St. Thomas transits, some ink corrosion on address panel reinforced by hinges, a most unusual usage.
