Tipperary to Chelsea, endorsed “H M Service”, showing a superb strike of the distinctive Roscrea “2” with matching crisp clear “ROSCREA / MY 20 / 1841” cds, Dublin and London bs, very fine and scarce with these quality strikes. Note: The Post Offices issued many provincial offices with distinctive “2” handstamps to record unpaid postage.
