1808 (May 5th) Folded entire from Philadelphia, USA to London through the American Forwarding Agent showing a manuscript endorsement “Recd. & forwarded p thy assured friend Abm Barker N York 5 M 13 1808” (Quaker dating = May 134) sent by private vessel and landed on the north coast on at Derry with a Crowned double oval “SHIP LETTER / DERRY” rated “1/3” rerated “3/5”, a fine and scarce ship letter.
