Description
1790 (September 20th) Folded entire from Belfast to Lord Macarmer Dervock living at Lissanour, Ballymoney, sent free and endorsed with manuscript “Crofs Post”, with a straight line red “BELFAST” townstamp, fine and scarce Cross Post usage. Note: The letter was addressed to a peer so no verification of the frank was necessary in Dublin and the Cross Post routing could be used.
