1854 1/2a blue die I on complete letter from Dacca to Calcutta, stamp tied by mute diamond of dots, letter dated 4 Oct and with boxed Dacca Paid dated 6 Oct on back; a very early usage of 4 Oct with the official date of issue being 1 Oct, probably the earliest use from Dacca. Catalogue ref: S.G. 2
