1851 (Sep 2) envelope from Truro to Halifax with 1851 3d blue, fine to very good margins, tied by a good strike of the oval grill cancel, reverse with despatch and arrival ds, paying the single internal letter rate, a very fine and fresh cover, which was sent on the second day of use of postage stamps in Nova Scotia, and the earliest known cover of Nova Scotia bearing a stamp, a superb exhibition showpiece for a BNA collector; cert.
