Otumba 13c blue lithographed (consignment #100-1866, 58 sent), “Mexico” overprint, a very large margined example, tied by “FRANCO” & “OTUMBA” straight-line hs (Schatzkès # 37) on cover to Mexico dated November 6, 1866. Horizontal crease of no importance for this, the only cover from this town so far recorded. NF $ 1,000 as a single off-cover.
Note: This small consignment to Mr. Solares in Otumba was in exchange for demonetized obsolete Eagles, and only 58 stamps were sent.
