Mexico 50c green lithographed (consignment #43-1866), three good margins, just clipped at top, on front to Paris dated August 29, 1866, tied by “FRANCO / MEXICO” cds paying the double rate to Veracruz, Anglo-French accountancy mark “GB 1F 60c” (credit to UK) hs adjacent along with Calais cds and faint “20” for charge to recipient in décimes, front with tear at left .One of the very few Maximilian covers sent to Europe.
