Description
Merida 13c blue lithographed (consignment # 52-1866 sub 1), fine to very good margins, on cover from Sisal dated September 1866, tied by oval “FRANCO /SISAL” hs (Schatzkes #805), small tone spot on stamp, missing backflap. The sub-consignment was attributed to Valladolid. A scarce cover from a small town and not much has survived from this district. Catalogue ref: Scott 27
