Description
Lithographed Maximilian unadopted essays produced in Europe, label and denominations in French (POSTES) in cents: 40c, 25c and 10c, in six composite strips of three, each in different colour and representing the three denominations, as well as two singles, printed on a variety of papers being glazed or wove. Produced in Milan or Trieste by an unknown artist. Very seldom found in all these different colours. Additional scans and images are being uploaded on a continuous basis, and the complete set of illustrations for all lots will be available by 1 June 2026.
