Entire letter from Cádiz (Spain) to Lima, denoting the maritime fee to be paid by the recipient with boxed “3 Pta” in red, equivalent to 3 Reales of the maritime fee, and “Cadiz” straight-line, both in red. Endorsement “en la frag.ta Rosa”, being the frigate which crossed the Atlantic transporting this letter. A very scarce mail with this rate marking on transatlantic mail.
