Lot 10451 – 1790 circa. Two covers from Spain to Lima, with the “España” postmark applied in Buenos Aires
1790 ca. Two covers from Spain to Lima, both transported via Corunna and disembarked at Buenos Aires, where the “España” postmark in red was handstruck (Kouri type VII), then following the route via Cuzco. One affected by edge splitting at base and vertical filing fold, the other with small portion of paper missing caused by insect erosion. A rare usage of the Buenos Aires postmark. Ex Camino.
