Entire letter from Cádiz (Spain) to Buenos Aires, struck on dispatch with three postmarks in red including “3 De Plata” (reales) rate & “España” straight-lines and “Andalucia/Alta” two-line handstamps. From the date it is inferred that this letter was transported on the first regularly scheduled voyage of a Spanish Royal Mail Packet from Cádiz to Buenos Aires. The earliest incoming mail to modern-day Argentina showing postal markings.
