1881, die proofs including engraved duty frame proofs of the 1c, 2c and 4c in black, engraved composite die proof of the 1c, 2c and 4c without shading behind the lion, cut-down recess printing die proofs in black of the completed design of the 1c, 2c and 4c with an extra 1c showing a further line in the background, plus the 2c and 4c in blue, finally a composite lithographic die proof in brown-lilac of the three values with ms annotation above.
