Lot 10373 – 1867-68, 1r yellow-chrome, second period of printing, block of 45

1867-68, 1r yellow-chrome, second period of printing, block of 45 comprising the upper half of the sheet of 90, positions from 1-9 to 37-45, including the prominent plate flaws in positions 4 (double frame line at base) and 43 (part double frame line at top), except for a very small portion still preserving its full original gum, cut slightly into at left and top right, otherwise varying margins being mainly ample. Small repaired hole in centre at base, the largest multiple recorded in this shade, with fewer than five items known.
