Lot 10340 – 1810ca. Cover with “INTERCEPTADA/DELIMA” and unique addressed to Valdivia

1810ca. Cover front sent from the Viceroy of Lima to Juan Clarke, Governor of Valdivia from 1795 to 1807a, carried at “6” reales as per the triple rate, showing two-line “INTERCEPTADA/DELIMA” hs (MPF54), struck in Santiago on correspondence originating in Lima which was not accounted. Of just 17 items recorded, this is unique having been sent to a destination other than Chiloé.
