1866-78, Postal History: A remarkable assembly comprising 150 items and few cover fronts from the three “Dom Pedro” Issues, including better rates, destinations (Argentina, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Newfoundland, Portugal, Spain, United States and Uruguay) an interesting array of cancellations with some very rare examples, rare “Black Beard” & “White Beard” combination franking’s, high multiple-rate franking’s, registered mail, desirable ABN marginal imprints, two rare newspapers franked by “White Beard” 20r as single franking, maritime mail infrequently carried internally by British packets, etc. Mixed condition with several items affected by the imperfections usually encountered as a result of the weather tropical conditions of Brazil.
